Integración de la tecnología en la educación temprana: Beneficios, desafíos y prácticas efectivas

Resumen

En el contexto de la educación temprana, la integración de la tecnología se hace cada vez más relevante para mejorar las prácticas pedagógicas y los resultados de aprendizaje. Sin embargo, múltiples barreras, tanto internas como externas, dificultan la  implementación efectiva en la formación de maestros. Este estudio tiene  como objetivo identificar y analizar estas barreras, así como explorar las estrategias más efectivas para superarlas. Se llevó a cabo una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura publicada entre 2018 y 2023, enfocándose en estudios empíricos que examinan los desafíos en la integración tecnológica en la formación docente. Los resultados revelan que las creencias y actitudes de los docentes en formación son determinantes para la adopción de tecnologías educativas. En particular, las creencias constructivistas facilitan la integración tecnológica, mientras que las creencias tradicionales y la falta de recursos y apoyo institucional actúan como barreras significativas. Además, se identificaron estrategias clave para superar estas barreras, incluyendo la formación continua, la colaboración entre docentes y un entorno institucional de apoyo. En conclusión, para que la integración tecnológica en la educación temprana sea efectiva, es necesario un enfoque integral que combine el desarrollo de competencias técnicas, el cambio en las creencias pedagógicas y el fortalecimiento del apoyo institucional, adaptado a las realidades contextuales de los docentes en formación

  • Ana Hilda Reyes Saldívar, Universidad Tecnológica del Cibao Oriental (UTECO), Cotuí, República Dominicana
    Con una trayectoria de 27 años al servicio de la educación pública, ha desempeñado diversos roles, incluyendo docente de aula en el nivel primario en varios centros educativos, técnico docente distrital en el área del nivel inicial y otras áreas, directora distrital y asesora distrital. Asimismo, cuenta con quince años de experiencia como docente universitaria tanto en programas de grado como de posgrado. Su participación en congresos, simposios, talleres, diplomados y cursos en el ámbito educativo es destacable. Actualmente, está cursando un doctorado en Ciencias de la Educación en la Universidad Tecnológica del Cibao Oriental (UTECO).
