About the Journal

The Multidisciplinary Journal "Voices of America and the Caribbean" (REMUVAC) is an international scientific publication that undergoes a semi-annual review process. It was created by the Platform for Action, Management, and Social Research (PLAGCIS) in collaboration with the postgraduate department of the Technical and Computational Institute of Reynoso (ITCC). Its commitment lies in fostering scientific development by disseminating knowledge derived from various research lines, programs, and projects. The journal is dedicated to publishing interdisciplinary or supportive knowledge in areas such as management, communication, education, social sciences, engineering, and law, without applying article processing charges.

Initial Evaluation Upon receiving the manuscript, our Editorial Team will conduct a preliminary assessment to determine if the document meets the fundamental criteria for eventual publication, in line with the objectives and scope of the journal. In this initial phase, the following will be verified: • Compliance with established author guidelines. • Similarity, which should be up to 20%; for this purpose, the plagiarism detection software Turnitin will be used to verify content authenticity. • Relevance of the addressed topic.

Double-Blind Arbitration Evaluation Process The journal is committed to subjecting each received article to an arbitration process that implements anonymous peer review. This process has two main objectives: firstly, to decide whether the evaluated article will be published or not; secondly, to provide authors with assessments and recommendations on the results of their research. During arbitration, the criteria indicated in the article evaluation guide should be considered, consisting of two parts: one related to the article's quality criteria and the other related to the referee's final opinion. In the comments, the referee can provide arguments on the evaluation of each question and offer recommendations on the content. The referee's criteria regarding the article should be submitted to the journal's chief editor (editor-remuvac@mail.com) within a maximum period of 15 days after receiving the article.

If changes are requested in the article, the author(s) must confirm whether they accept to make those modifications. If there is no response within a period of 7 days, the Editorial Committee will consider that the changes are not accepted, and the article will be rejected. In case of accepting the modification, the author(s) must resubmit the modified article to the journal editor within a maximum period of 15 days after the initial evaluation notification.

Authors, by accepting the publication of their proposal, automatically assign the copyright to the journal for its electronic dissemination and use, both by the scientific community and the journal itself, at no cost. Partial or total reproduction of published articles and materials is not allowed without proper citation of the source, for which various plagiarism detection programs are used. The contents developed in the texts are the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the viewpoint of the Editorial Committee or the Scientific Arbitration Committee. At the discretion of the Editorial Committee, articles of criticism, defense, and/or comments on articles published in the journal may be accepted. Thanks to the OJS, authors can monitor the different phases of the editorial process.
